The browser platform sets a low bar for the machine in front of you: a reasonably current browser and a working connection. It opens from the Personal Area in Chrome, Safari or Edge, on Windows, macOS or a phone, and asks for no administrator password. For a trader in Namibia that makes an old office computer as usable as a new laptop.

What the browser route needs, and what it does not keep

Because nothing is installed, the requirements are the browser and the connection rather than the operating system or the age of the hardware. A machine that would struggle with a modern installer still opens a chart, and a phone with no space left for another app still reaches the account through its browser. Signing out ends the session on that device completely.

The trade-off is worth stating plainly. A desktop terminal keeps its workspace on the machine, so the chart arrangement, the templates and the indicator settings reload as they were left, while a browser session starts from the account instead. For reading prices and managing an open position that costs little; for a routine built around a saved layout it is the reason to keep an installed terminal on one machine.

Local time is two hours ahead of UTC and does not shift during the year, so the European and American openings fall at the same local hours in every month. That predictability helps when the day is spent away from a fixed desk: the hours are known in advance even when the machine that will be free at them is not.
